STEER-NWE partners met in Differdange to advance our e-carsharing pilots

From 17–19 November 2025, the STEER-NWE consortium gathered in Luxembourg for a three-day partner meeting hosted by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and the Ville de Differdange.

The meeting provided an important opportunity for partners to take stock of progress and coordinate the next phases of the project. Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation across work packages, advancing pilot implementation, further developing digital tools, and refining data-sharing approaches. As STEER-NWE moves into a crucial implementation phase, these exchanges helped ensure alignment and reinforce the project’s shared objectives around integrated and inclusive e-carsharing.

A key highlight of the meeting was the site visit to Differdange’s local pilot area. Partners had the opportunity to explore the city’s approach to mobility and energy integration and to gain first-hand insight into how the pilot is contributing to sustainable urban transformation. The visit provided a practical perspective on how e-carsharing can be embedded within broader urban systems and local strategies.

The partners would like to thank LIST and the City of Differdange for their warm hospitality, excellent organisation, and inspiring programme. The meeting marked another important step forward as STEER-NWE continues working towards scalable, energy-efficient mobility solutions across North-West Europe.
