On 28 April 2026, the STEER-NWE consortium will host the first webinar of the STEER Academy, marking the official launch of a new learning and exchange platform dedicated to integrated e-carsharing in North-West Europe.

The STEER Academy will consist of a series of webinars and in-person masterclasses designed to equip local and regional authorities, mobility planners, and practitioners with practical knowledge, tools, and replicable methodologies. The 28 April webinar will set the scene by presenting the Academy’s objectives and what participants can expect in the coming months. The Academy aims to connect public authorities, policymakers, NGOs, mobility professionals, and other stakeholders interested in sustainable shared mobility. Throughout the lifetime of the STEER project, participants will have opportunities to deepen their knowledge through:

  • 10+ online Academy sessions
  • 5 in-person Masterclasses across Europe
  • A future interactive e-learning course

This first online event was aimed at showcasing STEER-NWE to a wider audience, and kickstart our training and replication activities, one of the key pillars of the INTERREG-NWE programme.

The webinar started with a welcome and introduction of the STEER Academy from POLIS Network, followed by an overview of the STEER-NWE project by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). Participants gained insight into the STEER-NWE Joint Methodology, presented by the WayToGo (W2G), before discovering the project’s Digital Tools for Integrated E-Carsharing, developed by LIST.
