STEER-NWE successfully kicks off in Brussels!

A common vision on e-carsharing

On 12 and 13 February 2025, the STEER-NWE project officially hit the ground running during its kick-off meeting in Brussels.

What is STEER-NWE’s mission and objectives?

To empower public authorities to develop integrated, energy-efficient, and inclusive e-carsharing models, by piloting three complementary approaches across six cities. These will combine digital tools with thoughtful integration into housing, public space, energy grids and governance systems.

Our two-day kick-off included:

  • The unveiling of the STEER methodology
  • City spotlight pitches
  • Deep-dives into stakeholder mapping, digital tools, and local contexts
  • The formation of transnational working groups
  • And… the beginning of a shared roadmap to action!

A huge thank you to all participants for the energy and engagement — from mapping stakeholders to discussing digital solutions, this was collaboration at its best!
